Mark has been awarded a prestigious MacDowell Colony Fellowship. He will be in residence at the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire from late January until early March. During the residency Mark will be working on his new BBC Radio 3 commission for soprano, baritone, chorus and orchestra for the BBC National Chorus and Orchestra of Wales. Mark has commissioned a new text on the theme of 'creation' from the poet Owen Sheers with generous funding from the Jerwood Charitable Foundation. The work will be premiered in 2015.
