Shakespeare Sounds and Sweet Airs

An image of Shakespeare
Sound and Sweet Airs is a celebration of 20th and 21st century choral and instrumental music inspired by Shakespeare's poetry to mark the 450th anniversary of his birth. The programme combines the performing forces of Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra's new music ensemble Kokoro and the London-based chamber choir Canticum and features Mark's 2007 work Stealing Poison alongside music by Oliver Knussen, Hywel Davies, Thomas Adès, Howard Skempton and Ralph Vaughan Williams.
